Key Steps In The Design Process

1. Meet with our designer at one of our two convenient offices or your site to determine your needs and requirements and review our design portfolio*. This is a FREE meeting.

2. If amenable, you sign our Architectural Contract and provide a deposit so that design work may begin.

3. Our designer produces floor plans and elevation renderings based on your needs, wants, and particular building site (sketches).

4. You review the renderings and make any changes until you are 100% satisfied and then the renderings are finalized.

5. Based on the renderings, our designer produces construction drawings necessary to obtain a building permit (plans).

6. You review the construction plans and make any changes until you are 100% satisfied and then the plans are finalized.

7. Our BCIN numbers are added to the drawings and ‘Schedule 1’ form is completed once your final payment is received.

8. Proceed to the construction phase of your project.

* To make the best of your initial meeting with our designer and to help us serve you better, you should bring any sketches or photos, magazine clippings, notes and ideas, zoning information, survey of your building lot, preliminary budget, and wish list with you to help communicate your unique requirements.
